Serabi Enhaii

Traditionally, serabi (or surabi in Sundanese language) is like a small pancake made of rice flour and coconut milk. The pancake then, again traditionally, poured with liquid palm sugar, or it also can be consumed with oncom (fermented soyabean) for a salty taste. Enhaii, is actually a nickname of NHI (National Hotel Institute), a government owned tourism school, which is now renamed as STP Bandung (Sekolah Tinggi Pariwisata Bandung).

Serabi Enhaii was famous as this serabi foodstall is located in front of this tourism academy. It is also famous because unlike the traditional serabi, Serabi Enhaii started to put various topping instead of only liquid palm sugar or oncom only.

People started to like their Surabi with cheese, chocolate, strawberry sauce, and other contemporary ingredients. Besides, the Bandung youth likes to hang around here as they also interested to see the students of NHI, who are famously pretty. Now, serabi enhaii is no longer as famous. But, there is also another Surabi Enhaii opened in other town. For example there is one in Kebayoran Baru, Jakarta. Also, you can find Soerabi Enhaii now in Palembang. Serabi Enhaii Jl. Buqiet Skate Park

Even though extreme sport such as skateboard and freestyle BMX has become more popular in Bandung, there are still few open park in the city that can be used for extreme sport. One of the place where Bandung skaters use to hang out is in Buqiet Skate Park.

If you just want to hang out, this place is really open and welcome. But to test your skill, you get to pay for about Rp. 20.000,- to use the ramp. Buqiet Skate Park has the facilities such as rails, street-like venue, and also some quarter pipes and vert section. This place is fancy enough for Bandung youth to hang out.

To get to the park is not that easy. It is located in the south west of Bandung, and the road to get there is very small and winding. You might want to check their schedule as well, as there used to be some timings for skaters and for bikers.
